      <image:title>About Me</image:title>
<image:caption>The therapeutic process is highly relational—the best therapy is done when two people feel comfortable in each others’ presence I received my Bachelor’s degree from UC Irvine and my Masters in Counseling Psychology from the Wright Institute in Berkeley, CA. I have provided psychotherapeutic services in both school-based and private practice settings, and currently work out of my office in Elmwood as well as at BlueSkies preschool in Fruitvale. While I enjoy working with many demographics, I have a special place in my heart for working with people struggling with self-esteem and identity development, early childhood development, and supporting those who identify as neurodivergent. I see my superpower as a therapist in my playful spirit, holding both the reverence and irreverence of what it means to be navigating life—at each developmental phase. In my spare time, you can find me horseback riding, tap dancing, or working on my collection of short stories.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Therapeutic Services - Child-Centered Play Therapy</image:title>
<image:caption>My work as a play therapist allows me to enter into a child’s world using the language of play, the primary mode of communication for children. Children express themselves most fully through play, and you can think of the work of a play therapist as the work of translator, transcribing play into language. This helps parents and caregivers gain a deeper understanding of how to meet children’s needs. I have worked to help children manage anxiety, sadness, grief, aggression, self-esteem, bullying, rigid thinking/behaviors, divorce, and life transitions. I specialize in working with neurodivergent children and families.</image:caption>
