Parent Consultation & Coaching

The moments that bring parents to consultation are usually not one big thing. They're a pattern — a dynamic that keeps repeating, a reaction you can't quite get ahead of, a child you love deeply but can't always reach.

Parent consultation is a space to slow down and look at what's actually happening. Not just the hard moments, but the patterns underneath them. What's working, what keeps getting stuck, and what your family already has going for it that isn't being fully used.

Every family has its own culture, its own rhythms, its own particular way of doing things. I'm not interested in handing you a script or a generic framework. I want to understand your family specifically — your strengths, your stuck spots, the dynamics that feel easy and the ones that don't. From there, we figure out together what small shifts might open things up.

Most parents I work with aren't missing something fundamental. They're often closer than they think. The work is less about adding something new and more about helping you access what you already have with a little more ease, intention, and confidence.

Parent consultation is available as part of ongoing child therapy, and I also work with parents on a standalone basis when that's the right fit.
